Jon

Since graduating from Hertfordshire University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy Jonathan has gained a diverse knowledge of assessing and managing a wide variety of musculo-skeletal conditions whilst working in Essex, Suffolk and London.

Jonathans has worked as a senior MSK Physio in the NHS, which included the assessment of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions throughout the body and treatment with manual therapy, electrotherapy and exercise. He also has years of experience and expertise being involved in the pre/post operative treatment of common orthopaedic conditions. 

Jonathan continues to attend numerous post graduate courses including spinal manipulations, osteopathic & soft tissue techniques, kinesiology taping and acupuncture and is now studying towards his MSc in advanced Musculo-Skeletal research and practice, having completed the PG Cert the next stage is a PG Diploma, later this year.

Jonathan has also worked for London Swimming, Ipswich Town FC and for a large private clinic in London. His background is mainly sport based, having completed the marathon and numerous triathlon’s, he is currently training towards Ironman distance again this year. His interest lies heavily in musculoskeletal disorders and in particular sports injuries and rehabilitation. These activities and Jonathans' own experience of being injured gives him a valuable understanding of what is required from a specific treatment and rehabilitation programme balancing the need to heal with the urgency to return to competition.
